Here is what the I-CAT 3-D machine looks like -

I-CAT 3-D has safelow levels of radiation exposure equal to about a Full mouth series of traditional x-rays. With the I-CAT Surgery and Implants are much more safe and predictable. The I-CAT allow 3-D visibility of many important structures especially the lower jaw main nerve, which if encroached upon by wisdom tooth removal or implants, Can lead to temporary or permanent numbness. The I-CAT significantly reduces these complications. If you are seeing another dentist, we will gladly take a referral I-CAT scan for you for a very reasonable fee and forward it to your doctor. We will need a written referral from your dentist or specialist to do so.
